Kezza leads Bebo down into the thrash on what should have been a routine harvest of Crezzerin. Oily, black, and volatile, the mysterious goo that shapes the Wildsea doesn't forgive mistakes, and this wavewalk leaves both sailors changed.

Meanwhile, aboard the God Singer, Zin takes the wheel as the crew pushes onward through the Mesoreia and toward the Snarl. The pirates they're hunting won't wait forever, and neither will their rivals, The Mass Romantics, closing in from behind. Every league counts.
